FORCE REPAIR 4TH Progress Meeting in Barcelona

The FORCE REPAIR consortium gathered in Barcelona, Spain, from the 21st to the 22nd of November for the 4th Progress Meeting, hosted by ASPHALION. Project partners meet regularly to discuss progress made thus far and plan the next steps towards the development of the FORCE REPAIR smart wound dressing.

The discussions centered on progress updates for each Work Package, along with the exchange of insights and developments from the conducted experiments. Jon Giblin from ASPHALION and the project coordinator, Damien Dupin from CIDETEC, opened the meeting with a warm welcome and highlights made in 2024. The meeting continued with an update on the current status and next steps in project implementation. The discussion highlighted upcoming milestones and deliverables due in 2025.

The second day included the Regulatory and Exploitation Workshop led by Jon Giblin from ASPHALION and Ivana Vuka from RISE. Jon clarified the applicable regulatory framework and the development pathway, while Ivana led part 1 of the interactive workshop on Key Exploitable Results. It is our goal to proactively address critical elements like regulatory requirements, refine the value proposition, prioritize stakeholder groups, and explore diverse exploitation pathways.
