Best Paper Award at EECSS 2026

We are proud to announce that a paper by FORCE REPAIR project partner Vicomtech has received the Best Paper Award at the 12th World Congress on Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems and Science (EECSS 2026), held in London, UK, from 16–18 August 2026.

The award was presented to Maria Basañez for the paper entitled: “Wireframe Simplification of Parsed G-Codes to Improve Geometrical Quality of 3D Printing FEM Models.”

The awarded research contributes to the development of more efficient computational approaches for modelling 3D-printed structures, supporting the FORCE REPAIR project's work on the mechanical simulation of 3D-printed wound dressing models.Congratulations to Maria Basañez and the Vicomtech team on this well-deserved recognition.
